About Us

Like so many things (everything?), My Ride History (MRH) started out as an idea. One day in 2015, Greg thought, 'Hey, wouldn't it be fun to have a website where you document all the cars you've owned, sharing all the great memories, images and videos?' Greg approached his former co-worker and friend Kelly about the idea, and after a masterful sales job, Kelly was in. They talked about it, thought about it, fleshed out the idea, and planned for the project ahead and finally churned out some code. However, along they way, some major life events interrupted. The project went on hiatus in early 2017. Greg moved to Florida with his family and finally resumed work on the code in late 2022, and released the beta version of the site in spring of 2024. Coding can be slow when you have work and family obligations!

MRH believes in privacy. We do not collect or use your data other than the data you enter here (just name and email address). We do not use the tracking or ad services of the tech giants that control so much information on the web nowadays. However, for our users' convenience, we support Google and Facebook logins. We HATE the adware/clickbait sites! From the beginning of the MRH project, the MRH team wanted to create a site that is "zippy", and not bogged down with a lot of bulky and slow analytics and ad scripts (like the click-bait sites). This site is designed to be enjoyable, fun, and responsive! The more you enjoy it, the more likely you will be to share it with others. So, we want you to enjoy it!

We hope you enjoy My Ride History! If you have any ideas or comments about MRH, please visit our Facebook site.

Greg

G Moo See Greg (standing) pretending he can work on cars. Greg jumped into programming during the dot com boom but failed to make a million like everyone else. Being a computer geek, naturally he loves science fiction and a bit of gaming. He likes to come up with ideas, and dreamed up the original concept of "My Ride History" and assembled the team to make it a reality. Greg resides in the Tampa area in Florida.

Kelly

K Ber See Kelly looking like he knows something you don't. He does. But hey, what's it worth to ya? Kelly has been churning out code and playing with hardware since he was 13. Being a computer geek (and otherwise nerdy Dungeons and Dragons™© RPG type game player), naturally he loves gaming (though plays little online these days). Kelly agreed to partner with Greg to make "My Ride History" a reality, and here we are. Kelly has [re]built a '68 Camaro and '69 Cougar - his dad (Michael LeRoy Berger) told him: "You want to know what marriage is like? Get an old muscle car, fix it up and maintain it. It will nickel and dime you to death, it's constant work to keep it moving well, it's worth every penny [when you know you got something everyone else wants]." Kelly resides in the Sedro Wooley area of Washington.
