After my first car got stolen, then returned all messed up, I decided it was time for another car. Found this at a local dealer on Aurora in North Seattle for $1,900. It was pleasant, clean and reliable. Good enough for a college student.

Seattle Snowstorm of 1990
So, after college I was working some "filler" jobs as I was looking for a professional job. One job was in Kent WA, a suburb of Seattle. I lived way up in North Seattle, about 20 miles or so away. Worked there with several buddies who were in the same situation. So, one afternoon/evening (looked it up, Dec 18, 1990), it started snowing like crazy- rare for Seattle, but it happens. We all wished each other luck and hopped in our cars to head home. That darn Nissan took me all the way home, I cruised by dozens or hundreds of stranded vehicles. So, turns out, this model of Nissan is a great snow car!
