I had my Saturn SC for 9 years, I decided it was time for another NEW ride. My buddy Ron had a nice car, and he was suggesting to me that I get something a little more upscale. So, I did! It was very nice, power leather seats, power windows, moon roof, AC, a nice (stock) stereo (cassette, CD and radio). I had it over 15 years.

Nice New Car Pass
In late 1999, a buddy of mine had invited me to attend an event at the Seattle Athletic Club in downtown Seattle. Fancy place! The thing was... there had been a WTO riot that evening, and downtown was blocked off by the police. I thought, "oh, oh, I guess I'm missing the shin dig". Well, I was wrong. Turn out wearing a suit in a nice new car can get you places. The cops just stopped me, asked a couple questions, then waved me through.
